This site was carefully chosen with our Italian colleagues to be both beautiful and easily reached.

On the western shore of Lake Maggiore, Baveno is only one hour by bus, taxi or car from Milan's International Airport and with a train station adjacent.

By Air: The preferred airport servicing ICRS2014 was Milan's Malpensa - (MXP).

By Bus: A 1:10 ride by bus, traveling directly to and from both terminals of Malpensa, right to Baveno, at 2 - 3 hour intervals.

By Train: Direct from Malpensa to Baveno. CLICK TO VIEW SCHEDULE. [Please note that Busto Arsizio is different from Busto Arsizio Nord. This is another train station!]

By Car: Take the Baveno-Stresa exit and continue along Via Cave Oltrefiume. Then take Via Scalpellini and turn right onto the SS33 state road. Enter in Baveno and reach Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi...you've arrived!

The Grand Hotel Dino, a beautifully renovated 19th-century gem. From this magnificent setting, ICRS2014 offered lake and mountain views from every room. The grounds and conference hall were lovely – the food, marvelous.
