UBC can be reached from YVR by car, taxi or public transportation.

TAXI SERVICES are available at the domestic and international terminal. Taxi signs guide arriving guests to the taxi departure bays just outside the terminals. Taxis charge a metered rate based on time and distance travelled. The approximate fare from YVR to UBC is approx. $40.00 CAD.

CAR RENTAL The airport is serviced by most large international car rental companies.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION The overall travel time by public transportation from YVR to UBC is approximately 50 minutes. The fare is $8.75 CAD and tickets can be purchased at automated ticketing machines at the Canada Line station. Payment is accepted in coins, bills. Debit and credit cards are accepted by most machines.  Take the Canada Line (departure just outside the International Terminal) to Oakridge / 41st Station Northbound and take the TransLink bus (# 49, 99, 480, 41 or 43) at West 41st at Ash St. Westbound to UBC.  Alternatively, Delegates can get to UBC by getting off the Canada Line at Broadway, cross the street to the North side of Broadway and catch the westbound 99 B-line bus.

GETTING TO AND FROM DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER Downtown Vancouver can be reached from UBC by public bus transportation or taxi.

There is a one-way UBC Campus Shuttle which provides transfers along the perimeter of the campus. This shuttle operates every 30 minutes for a fare of $2.50 CAD.
